Code of Ethics
This Code of Ethics provides guidelines of conduct for the associates of APECATE, aiming to establish a healthy and ethical collaboration between its members, customers and suppliers.
These principles are accepted by all members and its practice honors the Association and the trade.
According to the Statutes, the failure to comply this Code of Ethics violates the article 10th-g) which, under the article 11th-a) may cause loss of quality to the member.
Code of Ethics for Members of APECATE
To maintain the professional integrity by acting honestly within their areas of practice.
To avoid actions that can be interpreted as conflicts of interest or favoritism.
To offer or accept only wages, goods and services within the business transactions arising from the normal business operation.
To use professional business practices, honoring written and verbal contracts, while ensuring a clear and unambiguous communication between the parties and honoring the legal and contractual rights of third parties.
To earn the right to privacy and confidentiality protection of privileged information received verbally, in writing and electronically.
To respect copyright by not using inside and confidential information.
To commit to the protection of natural and cultural heritage through the responsible use of resources for their work.
To actively seek to achieve increasing levels of professional competence through continuous training and sharing of knowledge and experience.
To respect diversity, embracing and maintaining a business atmosphere of respect for all people regardless of their origin, race, religion, sex, marital status, age, sexual orientation and physical and mental abilities.
To adhere to these principles means professionalism, competence, fairness in business and integrity.
