Specialized Sections Requirements

PCO Portugal Section (Congresses)

May constitute ordinary members the companies who abide fully and cumulatively to the following requisites:

• being legally constituted as congress organisers;
• having has its main activity the organization of congresses, practicing this activity in a permanent and continued way for at least two years;
• during the given period of two years, having assured the global organization of at least two international or three national congresses, each with the minimum participation of three hundred delegates.

May become collaborating members:

• Congress organizing companies that fulfil the requisites stated above but still haven´t reached the two years of activity;
• Companies that provide services connected with congress organization.

Tourist Animation Section

May be ordinary members:

• Companies providing tourist animation;
• Companies that prove being in the middle of the licensing process as tourist animation companies.

May be collaborating members:

• Companies that provide services connected with the organization of tourist animation activities, provided these are proved different from the services connected with the organization of congresses and events;
• Sea-tourist operators (only with this specific licensing);
• Companies organizing summer camps (only with IPJ´s own license).

Event Section

May be ordinary members:

• Companies whose main activity is event organization.

May be collaborating members:

• Companies providing services connected with event organization.
