Montes de Encanto is an ecotourism operator run by biologists trained in Nature Tourism. We design interpretive walks and hikes, and themed visits and activities exploring rural traditions and customs in the north of Portugal. You will discover the most genuine aspects of pristine environments where the man-nature interface is at its purest, places where disappearing characteristics of rural life are still evident and may yet be observed.

In exploring tourism founded on the observation of rare fauna and flora, and on the sharing of valid scientific knowledge, Montes de Encanto proposes and innovative approach to tourism in Portugal.
